The combination of cement with polymer and other components creates a “self curing paint” with excellent adhesion and flexibility properties that allows its use on substrates frequently not recommended for styrene/ acrylic paints, such as concrete and clay.
Kangoshield’s excellent workability and quick drying time reduce labour costs, as does the fact that, in most cases, Kangoshield may be applied in a single coat. Because of its cementitious properties, Kangoshield forms a permanent bond with cementitious substrates. Because of Kangoshield ‘s reduced capillary water absorption, water-vapour permeability is not affected, making Kangoshield eminently suitable for applications on fresh concrete and plaster.
Kangoshield’s low water absorption reduces algae, fungi and mould formation, and also reduces dirt retention.
